Kalo Dungar (black hills) is located 19 km north-east of Khavda in Kutch, Gujarat.
Situated close to Pakistan border, Kalo Dungar is the highest point in Kutch at 1,516 ft. It also houses a Dattatreya Temple that is 400+ years old, and a magnetic hill that creates an optical illusion where vehicles seem to defy gravity and roll up the slope.
The views of Rann of Kutch from Kalo Dungar view point is mesmerising. One could also see the India bridge, connecting the Army posts to the north-side border.
