Bannerghatta Biological Park, Bengaluru, Karnataka, is located 21 km south of the city centre.
The Park has various units such as Safari, Butterfly park, Zoo and Rescue Centre spread over an area of 730 hectares. Safari offers visitors a chance to view free-ranging captive animals such as deer, antelope, gaur, bears, leopards, lions and tigers within naturalistic environment.
At present over 2300 animals belonging to 100+ species are protected in naturalistic environment here.
